A week ago, in the middle of summer break, my daughter Tehila came to me with the classic complaint: “I’m bored.” Right behind it came the request: “Dad, will you build me a games website?”
Lately I’d been hearing about all kinds of games and platforms where kids get taken advantage of through the chat. So I thought - this could actually be a great idea: a kid-safe games site. No chat, no talking to strangers, no signup - with fun games alongside slightly more educational ones you can actually learn something from.
And that’s how tehilagames.com was born.

What’s on the site
- Free browser games for kids and teens - click and play, no signup
- No chat and no contact with strangers - a design decision from day one, not an afterthought
- A nickname-only profile (no real names!), stars, records, and a leaderboard
- Educational games alongside fun, reflex, and thinking games
- And new games almost every day - I get “client requirements” daily and do my best to keep up, time permitting :-)
How did it come together so fast?
The site is built on Astro, the space-age technology we use for client websites, which produces super-fast sites - together with my trusty assistant, Claude AI. From idea to a live site: about a week. A new game? Sometimes it’s a single evening.
That’s exactly the advantage of this approach: with no excess code and no heavy system behind the scenes, even a site with dozens of interactive games loads almost instantly - and you can add content at a pace that would sound imaginary on traditional platforms.
The bottom line
We know how to build fun game websites - but we also know how to build serious, premium business websites.
